Bob Bradley: 'I'm still searching for strongest Swansea City team'

Swansea City boss Bob Bradley admits that he is still searching for his strongest starting lineup after arriving at the Liberty Stadium last month.

Swansea City boss Bob Bradley has claimed that it will take time for him to settle on his strongest starting lineup.

Bradley replaced Francesco Guidolin in the dugout at the start of October but he has earned just one point from three fixtures against Arsenal, Watford and Stoke City.

The Welsh club now sit five points adrift of safety in the Premier League table and despite having four weeks to work with his players, Bradley has suggested that he is still searching for his most effective formation as he looks to move the club higher than 19th place in the standings.

The 58-year-old told reporters: "I'm trying to figure it out every week but when you have a team that's gone through a stretch of results like we have, what it means is that you have guys in up and down form and even guys who have played well in the past, they are not at their top level.

"You look every day at different combinations. In terms of tactics, it's not pulling something different every day, but to have a flexibility, having an understanding of different ways to arrange players and have a versatility. I've always worked like that.

"Put that and the games played so far, we're still trying to find our best and most consistent group. Those discussions are ongoing but it takes time."

Swansea are next in action when they host Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
