Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has revealed his surprise and delight that teams are now modelling themselves on the Welsh club.
The Swans have become well known for their passing game that has driven them to success this season as they won their first major honour by clinching the Capital One Cup and finished comfortably in mid-table in the Premier League.
Britton told The Express: "It's amazing for people to use ourselves as a blueprint. I'm sure people weren't saying Swansea were a blueprint for everyone when we were at the Vetch Field playing in front of 2,300 people.
"But you have to give great credit to the board. We're a well-run club, making profits, signing good players and improving year on year. It's understandable other clubs will want to be like us."
Swansea face Fulham later today at the Liberty Stadium.
