Swansea City to subsidise away tickets for supporters next season

Swansea City confirm that the club will subsidise all tickets for their Premier League away games next season.

Swansea City have announced plans to subsidise all tickets for their Premier League away games next season.

Supporters who buy tickets through the club's 'Jack Army' membership scheme will not have to pay more than £22 to watch their team on the road.

The pledge, which is known as 'True to 22', will also see concession prices capped at £15 and kids' tickets costing around £10.

"We worked hard on reducing away ticket prices for our supporters last season through reciprocal deals with other clubs. Unfortunately, we were unable to finalise deals with all the clubs for different reasons," vice-chairman Leigh Dineen told Swansea's official website.

"Therefore, while we introduced other away fan benefits, we felt it would be more beneficial to our supporters if we took the step of guaranteeing them cheaper tickets for all our away games, whether there was a reciprocal deal in place or not."

Swansea start the new Premier League season with a trip to champions Chelsea on August 8.
