Swindon Town captain Darren Ward has signed a new two-year deal with the League One club.
The defender, 34, joined the Robins from Millwall in January following a loan spell at the County Ground.
"I'm delighted to have signed," he told the club's official website. "It's been going on for a while and we've been quite relaxed about it.
"It's been common knowledge that other clubs were interested, but under the circumstances and how happy I find myself here, I want to stay and I'm glad to have signed."
Ward started his professional career with Watford in 1995.
