Roma lose 100% record

Torino hold Roma to a 1-1 draw and become the first team to take points off the Serie A leaders this season.

Torino have become the first team to take points off Roma this season as a second-half strike from Alessio Cerci denied his former club an 11th win on the trot.

The Giallorossi led at half time thanks to Kevin Strootman, who fired beyond Daniele Padelli after getting on the end of Miralem Pjanic's cutback.

Granata were on top early in the second half and got their reward when Riccardo Meggiorini robbed Mehdi Benatia and fed Cerci to score his eighth goal of the season.

The visitors tried to muster a winner in the final stages, but Giampiero Ventura's men held strong and were well worth the point.

As a result, Rudi Garcia's team lead Napoli and Juventus by three points at the top of Serie A, while the home side climb to 12th.
