Jurgen Klinsmann has claimed that the USA will be out to make Cristian Ronaldo miserable when they take on Portugal in Group G.

The two sides will meet in Manaus on June 22 after Klinsmann's side take on Ghana on Monday, and the German is left in no doubt who the key man will be for their rivals.

"Our job is to stop Ronaldo in beautiful Manaus," Klinsmann told reporters.

"We'll think of ways to make it really miserable for him."

The US will also meet Germany in one of the trickier groups in the tournament.
