Rami was on the scoresheet just two minutes later as he was on hand at the back post to convert Tino Costa's cross after Roberto Soldado had provided the flick on.
It was 3-0 just before the hour when Jordi Alba turned in Soldado's cross, before Pablo Hernandez added a fourth with 10 minutes to play.
