French goalkeeper Jaume Domenech has signed a new three-year contract at Valencia.
The 24-year-old started the season in the reserve team due to Los Che's signing of Mat Ryan in the summer transfer window.
A long-term injury to Ryan forced head coach Nuno into a reshuffle, however, and Domenech's performances in training over the international break earned him a starting role for Saturday's La Liga match against Sporting Gijon.
Now, the stopper has been handed a fresh contract, which will commit him to the Spanish team for at least the next three seasons.
"For me it's a dream come true. It's what I wanted and I'm thrilled to extend my deal with Valencia. Now I will continue fighting to be stay for many years, which is what I want," Domenech told reporters.
Domenech made 43 league appearances for Valencia B between 2013 and 2015.
