Gary Kagelmacher wasted a good opening for Valenciennes after three minutes when he sent his right-footed shot wide of the post from the centre of the box.
In a game of few clear-cut chances, it was Majeed Waris who broke the deadlock. He gave the hosts a 1-0 lead in the 51st minute by making use of Arthur Masuaku's headed pass.
However, the lead was to last only 10 minutes as Paul Lasne found Benjamin Andre, who tucked the ball into the bottom corner to make it 1-1.
Waris hadn't given up hope of a home victory, however, as he was on hand to crash home a finish high into the net from the centre of the box.
It looked as though the hosts would take all three points, but Ajaccio were thrown a lifeline when Baradji found the roof of the net to make it 2-2.
The visitors completed the turnaround in the 90th minute as Baradji scored his second of the night after heading in Lasne's corner.
