Simon Church eager to regain Wales place

New MK Dons centre-forward Simon Church is eyeing a return to the Wales starting lineup.

Simon Church has admitted that he would like to recapture his place in the Wales starting lineup.

Having made just 19 appearances for Charlton Athletic last term, the 26-year-old lost his place in Chris Coleman's selection.

However, following his recent switch to MK Dons, Church has said that he is "desperate" to earn himself an international recall.

"I'm desperate to get in the squad and back in the starting lineup. To do that I need to be playing football," he told BBC Sport.

The striker last started a game for Wales in October 2014.
