Watford are close to signing Roma forward Victor Ibarbo on loan, according to reports.
The Colombian international is believed to be having his medical today but according to the Watford Observer, any deal could be complicated by the fact that Ibarbo is on loan at the capital club from Cagliari Calcio.
The Giallorossi paid £3.6m to loan Ibarbo for this season but after the arrivals of Edin Dzeko and Mohamed Salah, the forward has been allowed to leave to find first-team football.
The move also puts the future of Hornets striker Matej Vydra under question, with reports that the Czech Republic international could leave before the window shuts.
Ibarbo made 10 appearances for Roma last season, failing to score after joining the club during the winter transfer window.
