West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Pardew has reportedly decided to restore Jonny Evans's team captaincy for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Huddersfield Town.
The Northern Irishman was one of four Baggies players who admitted to breaking a club curfew while the team were on a training camp in Barcelona last week.
Pardew opted to give Gareth McAuley the armband for West Brom's 2-1 defeat to Southampton in the FA Cup, admitting that he wanted to "make a statement".
According to Sky Sports News, however, the Albion manager has decided that Evans will be reinstated as captain ahead of the crucial relegation six-pointer at The Hawthorns.
Evans, along with Gareth Barry, Boaz Myhill and Jake Livermore, apologised on Friday for his role in the incident, while West Brom have launched their own investigation into the events.
