West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is in no hurry to offer Keith Andrews a new deal at the club.
The Republic of Ireland international joined the Baggies from Blackburn Rovers last month on a contract until the end of the season.
Despite impressing during his first few weeks at the Hawthorns, Hodgson believes that there is no rush to agree fresh terms.
"Keith has only been here a few weeks and there are still nine or 10 games to go so there is a lot of football to be played," said Hodgson.
Andrews has scored two goals for the Baggies.
