Report: West Bromwich Albion board considering Tony Pulis future

The West Bromwich Albion board is considering the future of head coach Tony Pulis following Saturday's 4-0 home defeat to Chelsea, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly begun discussions on Tony Pulis's future at the club following Saturday's 4-0 home defeat to Chelsea.

The Baggies have not won a Premier League game since August, and have recorded only two victories in their last 21 matches.

The result also condemned West Brom to a fourth straight league loss and leaves them just one point above the relegation zone with the possibility of falling into the bottom three should West Ham United pick up a result at Watford.

According to Sky Sports News, the Albion board is considering Pulis's future at the club due to their poor form, which the Welshman acknowledged after the defeat to Antonio Conte's side.

The report also claims that West Brom's owner, Guochuan Lai, was at The Hawthorns for Saturday's game as part of a visit planned some time ago and had discussions with chairman John Williams after the match, but no decision has been made about whether or not Pulis should continue in his role.

Pulis, who has also managed in the Premier League with Stoke City and Crystal Palace, was appointed Baggies boss in January 2015.
