West Ham United keeper Adrian: 'It's better to play away from home'

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian says that it is "much better" for the team to play away from home as their form at Upton Park is lacking.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has claimed that it is "much better" for the team to play away from home because there is less pressure to get a result.

The Hammers have won all three of their Premier League away fixtures so far this season, beating Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

However, on home turf at Upton Park, they have picked up four points out of a possible 12, their latest result being a 2-2 draw against Norwich City.

"For us, I think it is much better to play away from home, but you have your fans here and of course if you play well, the fans are with you, but if not, everyone is a little bit nervous," Adrian told reporters. "We need a result or to score first to have our fans with us."

West Ham's next game is away to Sunderland on Saturday.
