Slaven Bilic "confident" of upsetting Manchester United

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic says that he is "confident" that his team can gain a positive result in Sunday's Premier League clash away to Manchester United.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is "confident" that his team can secure a positive result in Sunday's trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.

West Ham will enter the match off the back of a 3-2 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, while Man United put in arguably their best performance of the season in Thursday's 4-0 win over Feyenoord in the Europa League.

Bilic has paid tribute to Man United boss Jose Mourinho, but believes that the Hammers can upset the form book this weekend if they "cut out some of the mistakes" that they made against Spurs last time out.

"Jose Mourinho is one of the greatest. Statistically, at home, there are probably no better. But it's hard to stay at that standard and maybe that's dropped now," Bilic told reporters. "I'm confident that, if we cut out some of the mistakes we made on Saturday and, with a little bit of luck, we can pick up a result on Sunday."

West Ham will also visit Man United in the quarter-finals of the League Cup on Wednesday night.
