Carlton Cole has insisted that he has no problem with West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce.
The 31-year-old was expected to leave Upton Park during the recent transfer window, but a failed move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor forced the Hammers to pull out of a deal with West Bromwich Albion.
Despite reports suggesting that Cole angrily confronted Allardyce over the phone, he claims that he is happy to continue working with the West Ham boss.
"It was nothing personal, I just felt a little hard done by," Cole told reporters. "The manager has talked to me since and we have moved on from there and I just have to be a professional and get on with it."
Cole was handed a start in the goalless draw with Southampton on Wednesday.
