West Ham United boss David Moyes says that his side's performance against Swansea City was the worst he has seen since taking charge of the club.

West Ham United manager David Moyes has dubbed his side's 4-1 defeat at Swansea City the worst he has seen since taking charge of the club.

The Hammers boss described his team's display as "embarrassing" and apologised to the club's travelling support.

"We played so bad. I couldn't assess it, it was that poor," BBC Sport quotes Moyes as saying.

"The fans travelled through the snow to get here and we let them down badly. That was the poorest performance since I came here. I'm embarrassed.

"We conceded from two corners and a penalty. We had no intensity in our play, we thought we could just stroll about."

The win saw Swansea leapfrog West Ham in the league table, leaving them in 13th place, with the Hammers one spot behind, three points above the dropzone.
