West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce claims that Kevin Nolan "will be okay" after the club captain limped off during Saturday's pre-season victory over Bournemouth.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has claimed that Kevin Nolan "will be okay" after the club captain limped off during Saturday's pre-season win at Bournemouth.

Nolan was withdrawn at half time at Dean Court as the Hammers continued their preparations for the new Premier League campaign with a 2-0 victory.

"Kevin came off with only a dead leg so it looks like he will be okay and it won't be too much of a problem," Allardyce told The Mirror.

West Ham return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Colchester United.
