Slaven Bilic to hold talks with West Ham United chairmen

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic admits that his side's 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Liverpool has left him in a "difficult situation".

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has revealed that he will talk to the club's chairmen David Sullivan and David Gold following his side's 4-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool this evening.

Bilic was understood to have been given two matches to save his job last week, but having won one and drawn one of those games, the Hammers slumped back into losing ways with a disappointing display at the London Stadium.

The defeat is West Ham's second in a row at home by a three-goal margin, and a despondent Bilic admitted that the team's form has left him in a "difficult" position.

"I have to talk to the chairman. Of course we're going to discuss this defeat because it's not the first one. It's the second in a row at home," he told BT Sport.

"It is a very difficult situation for me. But the club is above everything and everyone. I still believe in myself, I wouldn't be here otherwise."

West Ham enter the final international break of the year sitting 17th in the Premier League table, one point clear of the relegation zone.
