Report: Dimitri Payet close to West Ham United switch

Marseille winger Dimitri Payet will reportedly fly in for talks with West Ham United on Thursday.

West Ham United are reportedly closing in on a move for Marseille winger Dimitri Payet.

A recent report claimed that the Hammers would sign the France international before the end of the week after seeing a bid of around £14m accepted by the Ligue 1 club.

Payet will now fly to England on Thursday morning to hold talks with West Ham officials ahead of a potential move, according to Sky Sports News.

Payet claimed 21 assists for OM last term as they finished fourth in the Ligue 1 table.
