Diafra Sakho will reportedly be offered a new contract by West Ham United after resolving his future and deciding to stay put this summer.
The Senegal international's future has remained up in the air for most of the summer and there were even suggestions that he was on the brink of joining Ligue 1 side Rennes on deadline day.
Sakho is understood to have been involved in a bust-up with boss Slaven Bilic last season, but Sky Sports News reports that he has held face-to-face talks with the club's owners and they were understanding.
It is suggested that the 27-year-old is happy to stick with the East London outfit, despite initially having his heart set on Rennes, and he may even put pen to paper on fresh terms.
Sakho saw his deadline-day talks with West Ham stalled by the 3.20 race meeting at Chelmsford, which agent Mark McKay had an interest in as his horse was running.
