Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for West Ham United.
Hammers boss David Moyes is known to be keen on making attacking additions during the January transfer window, but it appears that the Scot also has eyes on strengthening his backline.
According to The Guardian, Moyes is taking an interest in Mawson, who has become one of the Welsh club's star men since signing from Barnsley at the start of the 2016-17 campaign.
During that time, the 23-year-old has netted five goals in 45 Premier League appearances for the Swans, who allegedly value the former England Under-21 international in the region of £20m.
Mawson has just 18 months remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium, but Swansea may be prepared to keep the player at the club to boost their hopes of remaining in the top flight.
