Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez is reportedly expected to make a decision on his future within the next 48 hours.
The Spaniard, who led his side to FA Cup glory, revealed yesterday that his position at the DW Stadium will be decided by next week, but it appears that talks have since accelerated following Tony Pulis's exit from Stoke City.
Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has claimed that he will meet with Martinez today and tomorrow in order to discuss his plans for the future, according to The Express.
Martinez has been installed as one of the contenders to take over at the Britannia Stadium, while Everton are also seeking a new boss following David Moyes's departure to Manchester United.
