Uwe Rosler: 'We should have earned a point'

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler believes that his side did enough to deserve a point after they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening.

Wigan Athletic manager Uwe Rosler struggled to hide his frustration as the Latics suffered a 1-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening.

The Latics failed with 17 attempts on goal during the encounter at Loftus Road, and Rosler believes that his team would have been good value for a point against their playoff rivals.

The 45-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I think that everybody in the stadium, when they are realistic, saw that we should have got something out of that game.

"We had more attempts on goal, bigger chances and the clearer chances. I felt our morale, attitude and application was top drawer.

"The QPR goalkeeper, for me, was the man of the match. I think maybe Roy Hodgson should have a look at him."

Wigan remain in fifth position in the Championship table as QPR extended their advantage over Rosler's outfit to seven points.
