Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez was pleased with the point that his side earned after Sunday's 1-1 draw at Norwich City.
Victor Moses's second-half goal has kept the bottom-placed club within touching distance of safety after an important weekend at the bottom of the table.
"It's been a very good performance from us today," Martinez told Sky Sports News. "We didn't get a good start tactically but we recovered well and dominated.
"We showed a lack of composure in front of goal but I'm pleased with the performance. Mentally we were very strong and we need to take that attitude into our remaining games - starting next week against West Brom."
Wigan host the Baggies at the DW Stadium on Saturday.
