New Wigan Athletic boss Malky Mackay makes four changes in his first team selection as boss of the Latics for their Championship clash against Middlesbrough.

New Wigan Athletic boss Malky Mackay has named his first team as the club's manager in their Championship clash against Middlesbrough at the DW Stadium.

The 42-year-old has made four changes from Uwe Rosler's final team selection in the Latics' 3-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers last time out.

Ivan Ramis, Emmerson Boyce, Chris McCann and Andrew Taylor all come into the side to replace James Perch, Maynor Figueroa, Emyr Huws and Rob Kiernan.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has made three changes to his side from their 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.

Albert Adomah, Kike and Emilio Nsue replace Patrick Bamford, Yanic Wildschut and Ryan Fredericks for the clash this afternoon.

Wigan: Carson, Taylor, Ramis, McCann, Maloney, McManaman, Boyce, Espinoza, Barnett, Forshaw, Fortune
