Report: Ricardo Rodriguez to leave Wolfsburg

A report claims that Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez could leave Wolfsburg in January.

Highly-rated Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez could reportedly leave Wolfsburg in the January transfer window.

The defender, who has previously been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, is widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in Europe.

According to Wolfsburger Nachrichten, contract talks between the two parties have broken down and the 22-year-old is now ready to depart.

Rodriguez, who has 18 months to run on his current deal, represented his country at the 2014 World Cup this summer.
