Wolfsburg sign former Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma from PSV Eindhoven

Wolfsburg announce the signing of former Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma from PSV Eindhoven on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Wolfsburg have confirmed the signing of Jeffrey Bruma from PSV Eindhoven for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old Netherlands centre-back, who joined PSV from Chelsea in 2013, has signed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga club.

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs told the club's official website: "We are delighted that Jeffrey opted for VfL Wolfsburg.

"He will join us with the confidence of just winning a league title, moreover he knows Bundesliga from his time at Hamburger SV and boasts international experience. We are convinced that he can quickly become an important cornerstone for our squad."

Wolfsburg finished eighth in the Bundesliga last season.
