Half-Time Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic goalless

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic play out a goalless first half at Molineux in the Championship, despite the hosts dominating the game.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic remain goalless after the first half at Molineux in the Championship this afternoon.

Wolves should have taken the lead in the opening minutes when Rajiv van La Parra broke down the flank to cross for James Henry at the back post, but he could only direct a header into the side-netting.

The home side failed to create much in the opening 20 minutes and Dave Edwards was first to show his frustration with a wild effort from distance that flew over the Charlton goal.

In a half of very few opportunities, Wolves man Kortney Hause missed a guilt-edged chance when he headed wide of the target from Henry's cross, leaving the teams to go into the break level.
