Conor Coady: 'Wolverhampton Wanderers still full of confidence'

Defender Conor Coady claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers are still full of confidence, despite failing to win any of their last three games in the Championship.

Defender Conor Coady has claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers "know what they have to do" in order to return to winning ways in the Championship.

Wolves face Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday night having failed to register a victory in any of their last three games at the second tier, while Cardiff City will move to within three points of the leaders if they defeat Barnsley on Tuesday evening.

However, while Coady has claimed that the enforced 11-day break has not been ideal, the club's skipper has revealed that the first-team squad are determined to turn around their recent poor form.

The 25-year-old is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "We're going there full of confidence, we know what we've got to do, we've been working on it for the last week and hopefully we'll come away with three points.

"All the lads are focused, the manager's on at us every single day. We were disappointed we didn't have the game on Saturday because we felt like we needed it – we wanted to put things right after the Fulham game.

"Everybody's focused on what they've got to do, we're looking forward to it. There's 12 games to go and there's 12 massive games for us going forward."

Coady could potentially be moved into central midfield for the trip to Elland Road, with Ruben Neves serving the second game of his two-match ban.
