Leander Dendoncker delighted with "dream" Premier League move

New Wolverhampton Wanderers signing Leander Dendoncker describes his move on loan from Anderlecht as a "dream".

New Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Leander Dendoncker has spoken of his delight at sealing a "dream" move to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old earlier today became the latest in a growing lost of players to join newly-promoted Wolves this summer, agreeing a season-long loan deal from Belgian side Anderlecht.

Wolves have the option to make that deal permanent next summer, and Dendoncker has spoken of his desire to settle in at the club as quickly as possible.

"A move to the Premier League is a dream for every young football player. I'm very happy to be here and I hope I can help the team as fast as possible," he told Wolves TV.

"[My Belgian teammates] told me it is the biggest league in the world, that it is really nice to play in every week. They told me to come here, that I would become a better player. I am very excited to start.

"I followed [Wolves] a little bit last season and they did really well. They won a lot of games, and also with attractive football, and they are an ambitious club, so that's what attracted me most. I will do everything to adapt as fast as possible and help the team in every possible way.

"I can assure [the fans] that I will do everything to give my best and get them behind me and the whole team."

Dendoncker could make his Wolves debut at home to Everton on Saturday evening.
