Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause has insisted that teammate Bakary Sako is "100% focused" on the club's push for the Championship playoffs.
Hause is confident that Sako isn't suffering any hangover from the Africa Cup of Nations, where Mali were unfortunately knocked out by the drawing of lots after they couldn't be separated with Guinea in the group stages.
Sako, who is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, scored seven goals in 13 games at the start of the season, but hasn't found the back of the net in his 13 league appearances since.
Hause isn't worried by his teammate's dip in form, though, and is confident he can rediscover his best level of performance.
"Sako's a good player with a good attitude who just wants to work hard and do well," Hause told the Birmingham Mail.
"I think he's come back fine, but there's a lot more to come from Sako.
"I'm not Sako so I can't tell you how he's feeling, but he's 100% focused and he's been no different."
Wolves are five points adrift of the playoffs in eighth place after Saturday's defeat at fellow top-six hopefuls Norwich City.
