Kenny Jackett targets Wolverhampton Wanderers Championship push

Wolverhampton Wanderes boss Kenny Jackett urges his troops to focus on automatic promotion into the Championship after moving into the top two in League One.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has urged his team to focus on automatic promotion to the Championship after moving into the top-two in the League One table.

Wolves coasted to a 2-0 win over 10-man Bradford City on Saturday, with Kevin McDonald and Nouha Dicko taking full advantage of their side's numerical advantage after Nathan Doyle's first-half red card.

The result saw the West Midlands outfit move a point ahead of third-placed Leyton Orient and two behind leaders Brentford.

"It is tight between the top three in truth and it is all now about going forward," he told reporters.

"I am pleased to be in the race for promotion and I am really looking to push on now and earn that automatic place. The three clubs, and probably Preston as well, will think they have got a chance."

Jackett's troops resume their promotion push with a visit to bottom-placed Stevenage next weekend.
