Dean Saunders vows to drop poor performers

Dean Saunders tells his Wolverhampton Wanderers players that he is willing to drop or sell any of them to keep the club in the Championship.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders has told his players that none of them is safe from being dropped.

The Black Country club are currently in the Championship's relegation zone with just 12 matches left to play.

Having already dropped the likes of Kevin Foley, Roger Johnson, Christophe Berra and Stephen Ward in a bid to reverse the team's fortunes, Saunders has warned other squad members that they face a similar fate if results don't improve.

"This is how I work - I'll have a look and I can have an effect on you but if you don't respond, I'll get someone who will, before I suffer," the Welshman is quoted as saying by the Express & Star.

"If they don't play the way I want, I'm going to have to get someone else because this isn't just a bad patch."

On Friday evening Wolves will play host to Watford.
