Besiktas winger Ricardo Quaresma reportedly rejects an approach from Wolverhampton Wanderers as he is happy in Turkey.

Portugal international winger Ricardo Quaresma has reportedly turned down an approach from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 35-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at current club Besiktas, for whom he has played since 2015.

Turkish outlet Fanatik claim that Wolves approached him to gauge his interest in joining the Portuguese contingent at Molineux but were knocked back by the Euro 2016 winner.

Quaresma - a former teammate of Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo at Porto - is reportedly settled in Turkey and has no interest in returning to the Premier League, where he spent six months on loan with Chelsea in 2009.

Wolves are in the market for new wide players after letting Helder Costa join Leeds United, while Ivan Cavaleiro is understood to be on the brink of leaving for Fulham.

Quaresma has scored 20 goals in 152 appearances during his four years at Besiktas, including four in 34 outings last term.
