Gary Johnson pledges future to Yeovil Town

Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson insists that he has no plans to leave Huish Park.

Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from the Championship club.

The Glovers boss said that he intends to remain at Huish Park as long as he feels he is wanted there.

"The club keeps me when I see that they are backing me," he told the Western Gazette. "I have a good relationship with the board and, at this moment in time, I always say until there's a decision to make, there's no decision to make.

"At the moment I'm happy with the support I have got from the football club, of the staff, of the players, fans and even media. Everyone has understood our plight and been grateful for what will be at least one season in the Championship - we're hoping for more.

"I have got no thoughts of anywhere else and, at this time, until something is actually put in front of me, I am very happy with this football club and the support it has given me."

Yeovil are currently bottom of the Championship, five points adrift from possible safety.
