Steven Gerrard promises McDonald's treat for Liverpool's Under-13s

Steven Gerrard promises to buy Liverpool's Under-13s squad McDonald's meals if the club beat Chelsea on Sunday.

Former Liverpool defender Rob Jones has revealed that captain Steven Gerrard has promised to buy the club's Under-13s squad meals from McDonald's should they beat Chelsea on Sunday.

The England skipper visited the youngsters this week to watch them train ahead of Sunday's crucial Premier League showdown against the Blues.

Alongside a group photograph with Gerrard, Jones tweeted the message: "Stevie said he will treat them to a McDonald's if they beat Chelsea on Sunday.. Happy meals all round then."

Liverpool need seven points from their last three games in order to lift the Premier League title.
