Manchester United have become the biggest earners of the season with regards to Premier League TV money.
The Red Devils, who secured their 20th league title this season, earned more than their top-flight counterparts following the accumulation of domestic TV deals and overseas broadcasting.
United raked in £60.8m, while Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur made more money than Chelsea despite finishing below them in the table, as the North London clubs appeared in more live TV matches, according to Sky Sports News.
Half of the Premier League TV money was distributed between the clubs as well as the overseas deals. A further 25% was shared as merit money depending on where each club finished in the table, while another 25% was paid whenever a team appeared in a live televised match.
