A number of Chelsea fans reportedly express their anger at the prospect of the club signing Wayne Rooney from Manchester United.

A number of Chelsea supporters have reportedly aired their discontent at the prospect of Wayne Rooney moving to Stamford Bridge from Manchester United.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch away from Old Trafford after Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the striker has asked to leave the club twice in three years.

Chelsea have been touted as a possible destination for the England international, but a hoard of fans have insisted that they would rather the West London outfit avoid making a summer bid for the forward.

The Daily Star has claimed that a fans' forum website theshedend.com has attracted negative comments about Rooney, such as: "I don't want Rooney anywhere near CFC - the thought depresses me."

Chelsea could be under the leadership of Jose Mourinho from next season following the Portuguese coach's decision to leave Real Madrid this summer.
