David Beckham changed accent to sound less working class?

David Beckham and his wife Victoria have changed the way they speak in order to sound more posh, claims a university study.

David Beckham and his wife Victoria have reportedly changed the way they speak in order to prevent themselves from sounding working class, according to a university study.

Linguistic students at the University of Manchester have come to the conclusion after analysing a number of YouTube videos that the couple have adapted their accents over the years.

The study has suggested that Beckham is more likely to pronounce his 'H's in interviews, while Victoria tends to enunciate her 'L's whereas before she was more likely to say 'aw' instead of 'all', according to the Daily Mail.

It has been claimed that the pair have tried to adapt the way they speak in order to match the reported fortune of £80m that they have accumulated over the years.
