England captain believes side should have scored more points against Ireland

England captain Chris Robshaw believes that his team should have scored more tries in their 21-13 win over Ireland this afternoon.

England captain Chris Robshaw has lamented his side's finishing, despite defeating Ireland earlier this afternoon.

England beat Ireland 21-13 with tries coming from Jonny May and Anthony Watson, but Robshaw believes they should have scored more.

"It's great to be back at home. When we play at home, we can be pretty good when we stick to our systems," Robshaw told Sky Sports. "Discipline was an issue for us two weeks ago.

"We put Ireland under pressure today, and it was a great dress rehearsal before the big one in two weeks' time. Potentially, we left two tries out there by not being clinical enough. But overall, we're pretty pleased with how things went today."

"We expected a reaction to France today, and we gave it. There's a couple of things to tidy up on but we're pleased," May added.

England kick off the World Cup against Fiji in the opening match on September 18.
