Jonny May cleared to face Scotland on Saturday

England winger Jonny May is cleared to face Scotland on Saturday, despite suffering a broken nose during last weekend's defeat to France.

England winger Jonny May has been cleared to face Scotland in Saturday's Six Nations match at Murrayfield, despite breaking his nose during last weekend's defeat to France.

May lasted just eight minutes before being forced off in England's 26-24 defeat in Paris on Saturday, and he was replaced by Saracens full-back Alex Goode.

However, the 23-year-old saw a specialist and has now been passed fit for the Calcutta Cup clash as England look to pick up the first win of their Six Nations campaign.

"Following a scan review and a specialist assessment which confirmed an undisplaced fracture of his nose, Jonny will be available for selection," read a statement released by the Rugby Football Union.

England will have two weeks off after the Scotland contest before hosting Ireland at Twickenham on February 22.
