Mathieu Bastareaud drops to France bench for New Zealand quarter-final

Centre Mathieu Bastareaud drops to the bench in one of three France changes made by Philippe Saint-Andre for the Rugby World Cup quarter-final against New Zealand.

France coach Philippe Saint-Andre has made three changes to his France starting XV for Saturday night's Rugby World Cup quarter-final against defending champions New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium.

Mathieu Bastareaud, Damien Chouly and Sebastien Tillous-Borde drop out, with Alexandre Dumoulin, Bernard Le Roux and Morgan Parra coming in.

With 553 caps, it is the most experienced side that Saint-Andre has picked at the tournament so far.

Half-back combination Parra and Frederic Michalak start a Test together for the first time in two-and-a-half years.
