Leicester Tigers have completed the signing of France international prop Jerome Schuster from Perpignan.
The 27-year-old will replace Martin Castrogiovanni, who is being released by the club after seven years at Welford Road.
Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill says that forward Schuster will provide more options for next season.
"He has pedigree and ability," Cockerill told BBC Radio Leicester.
"He can play both sides of the scrum. He is also going to be around all year which is will be very useful.
"Hopefully in this environment, he will go from strength-to-strength."
Schuster has won two caps for France.
