Newport Gwent Dragons duo Lewis Evans and Hugh Gustafson both agree new two-and-a-half-year contracts at the club.

Newport Gwent Dragons director of rugby Robert Beale has revealed that Lewis Evans and Hugh Gustafson have both agreed new two-and-a-half-year contracts at the club.

Back-row Evans came through the youth ranks at the club, while hooker Gustafson joined at the beginning of the 2007-08 season.

"We are delighted to announce that Lewis Evans and Hugh Gustafson, two players committed to the Dragons Region have extended their current contacts with us. I'm sure both players will play a big part in the Dragons future going forward," Beale told the club's official website.

Gustafson has also previously skipped the Wales Under-20s team.
