Worcester Warriors keep up their winning start to the Amlin Challenge Cup with a dramatic 22-21 victory over Perignan at Sixways Stadium.

Worcester Warriors have maintained their winning start to the Amlin Challenge Cup with a dramatic 22-21 victory over Perignan at Sixways Stadium.

Andy Goode scored all of the home side's points, including a 79th-minute penalty, as the visitors suffered their first defeat of the campaign.

Goode kicked over three penalties in the opening 26 minutes, while Florian Cazenave's unconverted try made it 9-5 to the hosts.

Worcester extended their lead when Goode converted a try of his own with five minutes left to play in the half, but Perpignan had the final say with a James Hook drop goal.

The away side started the second period strongly and they cut the deficit to just two points thanks to two Hook penalties.

Perpignan then got themselves in front for the first time just after the hour when Hook converted a penalty try.

Goode kicked his side to within two points of their opponents soon after before he landed a late penalty to seal the win.
