Dominika Cibulkova delighted with Australian Open progress

Dominika Cibulkova says that she is overjoyed to have defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in the Australian Open semi-finals.

Dominika Cibulkova has said that she is delighted to have reached the final of the Australian Open.

The 24-year-old Slovakian got the better of Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1 6-2 in the semi-finals at the Rod Laver Arena on Thursday to set up a meeting with Li Na for the title.

"Aga is an unbelievable player and I expected a tough match," Sky Sports News quotes her as saying. "I just knew I had to go for my shots.

"I had so many thoughts in my head [during the match] but just focused on my game. I can't believe I'm in a final."

Cibulkova is the first Slovakian to reach a Grand Slam final.
