Colin Fleming reveals that he is considering ending his partnership with Jamie Murray.

Colin Fleming has admitted that he is considering ending his partnership with Jamie Murray following the Scottish duo's 7-5 7-5 defeat to Michael Kohlmann and Jarkko Nieminen at the Australian Open.

Fleming teamed up with Brazilian player Bruno Soares to win the Heineken Open title earlier this month but his regular doubles partner is Ross Hutchins, who was diagnosed with cancer in December.

"[The Australian Open defeat] was a blow and we need to have a rethink, see where we are in the rankings, and then make a decision," Fleming told BBC Sport.

"It was a match that we thought we could win but, forgetting the result, I don't think either of us did ourselves justice in our performance.

"That's the first thing you look for when you go out on the court, to perform, and then with the result, whatever happens you can live with it. It was a disappointing day really."

Fleming and Hutchins reached round three at Melbourne last year, where their challenge was ended by Bob and Mike Bryan.
