Jamie Murray: Great Britain Davis Cup team a "close-knit family"

Jamie Murray says that the Great Britain Davis Cup team are a "close-knit family" following a narrow doubles defeat to Bob and Mike Bryan.

Jamie Murray has described the Great Britain Davis Cup team as a "close-knit family" after being narrowly beaten in the doubles rubber today.

Murray partnered Dominic Inglot against Bob and Mike Bryan and lost 7-9 in the final set of five

"It's pretty obvious to me that we are a much tighter team than the Americans," Murray told BT Sport.

"Everyone on the bench is getting behind us and I didn't feel that at all from the American team. They weren't really getting up or cheering or anything from the Bryans.

"It is really like a close-knit family. You do feel everyone is right behind each other and I think it has shown in a lot of performances in the last three or four years since Leon has been in charge."

Great Britain need to win just one of the singles matches tomorrow to secure victory in the tie.
